Radiotherapy firm Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, will provide proton beam radiotherapy developer Still River Systems of Littleton, MA, with a robotic patient positioning system.
Accuray will supply a version of its RoboCouch, which is designed to position patients with 6° of freedom for treatment, enabling clinicians to automatically reposition a patient from the control room.
RoboCouch will be used with Still River Systems' Monarch 250 PBRT single-room proton beam radiotherapy (PBRT) system.
