Brachytherapy device developer Xoft of Sunnyvale, CA, plans to introduce a mobile electronic brachytherapy vehicle to its product line at this month's American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) meeting, the company said.
The company is collaborating with Medical Coaches on its Axxent Xpress mobile electronic brachytherapy van, which will allow facilities to offer radiation treatment across geographic and socioeconomic levels, according to Xoft. The van will carry up to three Axxent units, the company said.
