Cianna debuts new SAVI model

Brachytherapy firm Cianna Medical has introduced a 6-1Mini version of its SAVI applicator for delivering radiation in breast conservation therapy.

The new model is designed to be used in the smallest of lumpectomy cavities, according to the Aliso Viejo, CA-based firm. 6-1Mini has an array of six peripheral catheters surrounding one central catheter, Cianna said.
