Accuray takes Venezuelan order

Radiotherapy firm Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, has sold its CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system to Domingo Luciani Hospital for its new oncology center in Caracas, Venezuela.

The facility plans to use the CyberKnife for extracranial radiosurgery, including the treatment of lung, prostate, and liver tumors. The order is Accuray's first CyberKnife installation in South America.
