Radiotherapy firm Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, said it has postponed its release of financial results for its fiscal first quarter (end-September 27), as it looks into allegations of improprieties in inventory handling.
The firm said that a former employee had raised allegations of "possible improprieties in handling and accounting for certain inventory items." Accuray has retained an independent external investigator to look into the allegations, and the company plans to file its quarterly 10-Q report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission once the investigation is completed.
