Elekta sells 2 Infinity rad therapy systems

Radiation oncology firm Elekta has sold two Elekta Infinity radiation therapy systems to Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ.

The Elekta Infinity systems feature an Agility 160-leaf multileaf collimator (MLC) and a HexaPod patient positioning system.

The center also purchased new modules for its Mosaiq oncology information system and Clarity soft-tissue visualization system for image-guided radiation therapy.
