
B dot Medical has inked a contract with a Japanese hospital to install its compact proton therapy system.
Edogawa Hospital in Tokyo is working to establish a proton therapy center and will install B dot Medical's system once that is complete and once the firm has secured regulatory approval for the device in Japan through that country's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), the company said.
