Ultrasound contrast developer Acusphere has received a $2 million loan from the state of Massachusetts.
The loan, issued under the Emerging Technology Fund (ETF) by the MassDevelopment statewide finance and development agency, will be used to help renovate and equip a building in Tewskbury, MA, according to the Watertown, MA-based firm. Acusphere said it intends to use the facility to manufacture its AI-700 ultrasound contrast agent.
