Philips Medical Systems is displaying a number of new features for its ultrasound systems at this week's annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Washington, DC.
The Andover, MA-based vendor has added its spatio-temporal image correlation (STIC) technology to its HD11 XE cardiology ultrasound scanner.
In addition, Philips is previewing its iSlice image review capability, which employs volumetric imaging technology to display multiple images from one sweep of the transducer, according to the vendor. iSlice will be available soon as part of the company's QLAB quantification software, Philips said.
Also, Philips is demonstrating enhancements to its iU22 ultrasound system, including fourth-generation 3D/4D imaging and 2D image clarity enhancements for perinatology and women's health applications.
