Ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems released a new echocardiography package for its z.one ultrasound system at RSNA 2008 in Chicago.
The new release features a comprehensive calculations package for left ventricle analysis and valvular pathologies, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging capabilities, and advanced color and spectral Doppler sensitivity to help physicians to more accurately assess overall cardiac function, according to the Mountain View, CA-based company.
The release also incorporates Zone Sonography technology and further enhances the ergonomic features offered on the z.one system with one-button image optimization and continuous focusing to reduce the number of keystrokes required.
