Signal processing company Analog Devices has introduced AD9675, an eight-channel ultrasound analog front-end receiver.
It is designed for mid- to high-end portable and cart-based medical and industrial ultrasound systems, the company said.
The device offers eight channels with a low-noise amplifier, variable gain amplifier, antialiasing filter, and 14-bit analog-to-digital converter. It also has a high sample rate and a signal-to-noise ratio performance of 75 decibels.
A 5-gigabits-per-second JESD204B serial interface reduces ultrasound system input/output data rates compared to other data interface standards by as much as 80%, Analog Devices said.
