Fuji SonoSite secures CE Mark for iViz platform

Ultrasound developer Fujifilm SonoSite has received the European CE Mark for iViz, a new ultrasound platform designed for point-of-care settings.

iViz features a 7-inch touchscreen display, as well as Fuji's SonoHD2 and SonoAdapt tissue optimization technology. It integrates ultrasound with hospital IT and electronic medical record systems and supports M-Mode and color velocity Doppler techniques, the company said.
