Mindray Medical International has released a new point-of-care ultrasound scanner, TE7 ACE.

The new touchscreen ultrasound scanner is designed for imaging in the areas of anesthesia, critical care, and emergency care. The system features smart fluid management tools, a safe needling toolkit, seamless data connectivity, and a complete disinfection package that allow clinicians to handle diagnostic challenges and make rapid decisions, according to the company.

The system automatically calculates velocity time integral, cardiac output, stroke volume variation, and B-lines number, percentage, and distance. It automatically traces inferior vena cava diameter change and calculates the collapsibility index or distensibility index.

Finally, Mindray's new L12-3VN transducer with three programmable buttons combines eSpacial Navi and remote control into one, allowing clinicians to perform needle punctures without touching the system.
