Hologic launches Selenia in U.K.

The Lorad division of Bedford, MA-based digital x-ray and mammography provider Hologic has launched its Selenia full-field digital mammography system in the U.K. market. The company has sold four of the units to St. Barts Hospital in London, which plans to install them at its Cancer Centre of Excellence (CCE). The CCE is scheduled to open in the summer of 2004, said Hologic.
