Knudsen leaves Fischer, Ravine named CEO

Gerald Knudsen, CEO of Denver-based mammography vendor Fischer Imaging, has resigned his post, according to the company. Harris Ravine, lead director of Fischer’s board of directors, has been appointed CEO. Ravine, a senior partner at executive management consulting organization Meritage Associates of Hopkington, MA, has more than 20 years of executive, board, and venture capital experience. Fischer said Knudsen was leaving for family reasons.
