Confirma hires Smith as medical director

Breast MRI computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Confirma of Kirkland, WA, has selected its founder and technology inventor, Dr. Justin Smith, as medical director of the company. Smith is a diagnostic radiologist at First Hill Diagnostic Imaging in Seattle and is an affiliate investigator with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, also in Seattle.
