Mammography vendor Fischer Imaging of Denver has named a new audit firm, Ehrhardt Keefe Steiner & Hottman, to succeed Ernst & Young, the company's auditor for the past two years.
The company stated in an 8-K report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that the reports of Ernst & Young on Fischer's consolidated financial statements for the past two years contained no adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope, or accounting principles.
Fischer also stated that during the two most recent fiscal years and through the effective date of the auditor change, there were no disagreements with Ernst & Young on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure, which if not resolved to Ernst & Young's satisfaction, would have caused them to make reference to the subject matter in its report on the financial statements for such years.
