Taipei will use scratch cards to encourage cancer screening, according to a report in the Taipei Times.
The prize scratch cards will be available to eligible female residents from August 1 to November 30, according to the article. Those who can join the lottery include the following:
- Women with a household registry in Taipei between the ages of 45 and 69
- Women between 40 and 44 that have a second-degree family member who had breast cancer and have not received a mammogram last year or this year
In addition, female residents between the ages of 30 and 70 who are sexually active and have not received a Pap smear between 2018 and 2020 are also eligible, the Taipei Times reported.
