Koning Health has finalized a deal with venture firm Gentle Scan Health to support the installation of 20 of its Vera Breast CT devices across the U.S. in 2024.
Under a strategic partnership, inaugural installations are scheduled for the metropolitan New York City area, Atlanta, and Southern California at the start of the year, Koning said.
Koning received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2017 to market Vera Breast CT devices for diagnostic mammography use. The system does not require breast compression.
