
South Korean AI software developer Lunit has achieved the milestone of helping to screen more than 1 million annual mammograms in North America, a year after its purchase of Volpara Health Technologies.
In June of this year, the company expects to have deployed its Lunit Insight DBT and Lumit Insight MMG in more than 200 imaging centers and hospitals across the U.S., with 350 to 400 radiologists using the technology.
Lunit's customer base includes Rezolut, SimonMed Imaging, and the University of California Davis Health, it said. It was founded in 2013.
