A warm farewell to ECR 2003

VIENNA - Spring seemed to arrive early on Monday at this year's European Congress of Radiology, with balmy temperatures driving off a week of gloomy weather and sending ECR attendees out to enjoy the sunshine.

Fortunately, the rising temperatures didn't provide too much of a distraction for radiology's premier pan-European meeting. Both the scientific sessions and technical exhibits have been well attended, giving radiology professionals a chance to get to know each other better within the cozy confines of Vienna International Center.

But all good things must come to an end, this year’s meeting included. Closing ceremonies are scheduled for March 11, with outgoing ECR president Dr. Nicholas Gourtsoyiannis of Greece handing over the presidency to ECR 2004 president Dr. Helen Carty of the U.K.
