Starting Wednesday May 10, AuntMinnie.com will be implementing a new interface for these message boards. The new software has more of an industry-standard interface and will include powerful customization and communication options that we think will enhance your AuntMinnie experience and enable you to better communicate with your peers.
As part of the change, we will be retiring the term "Discussion Groups" in favor of "Forums." We will also be retaining all messages posted in the old Discussion Groups back to January 2005, and will be transferring them to the new Forums.
The top-level Forum hierarchy will not change ("General Radiology," "Residents," "Medical Students," etc.). Also, our Terms of Service will remain in effect unchanged, and we will continue to allow members to post messages under pseudonyms.

- Display preferences: Two message display formats are available: flat or threaded. Control your viewing preferences in your profile.
- E-mail notification of new messages on specific topics: You can easily subscribe or unsubscribe to this notification service.
- Image upload: Select forums will have the capability of uploading images with their postings. WYSIWYG Editor (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get, compatible with IE6+ and Mozilla Firefox). Edit your messages without using clunky tags, and see the final result of your message right away.
- Ultra-fast user tracking system: See who’s online by forum and topic. Want more privacy? You can hide yourself from this tracking system.
- Customization: Customize a number of other settings such as viewing and posting preferences.
- Forum subscriptions: You have the ability to subscribe to only the Forums that matter to you. Once subscribed, go to the Forum Options/ My Forums page to see only the Forums you want to see.
