Images from subsequent colonoscopy (C and D) again demonstrate the multiple adenomatous polyps and the larger mass, which proved to be a tubulovillous adenoma with multiple foci of adenocarcinoma. Note the "cerebriform" appearance to the overlying mucosa often seen with adenomatous neoplasia.
