FIGURE 1.3.1 Main duct IPMN. Endoscopic image (A) shows a bulging major papilla with a gaping orifice filled with clear mucin. Corresponding ERCP image (B) shows dilatation of the main pancreatic duct. Contrast-enhanced CT image (C) from a different patient shows extensive pancreatic ductal dilatation with relative parenchymal preservation. Endoscopic image (D) from a third patient shows mucin extruding from a prominent papilla; contrast-enhanced CT image (E) shows a dilated main pancreatic duct. EUS image (F) from a final patient shows marked ductal dilatation.
