Why imaging should be included in U.S. IT stimulus program
Images and imaging reports must be included in the electronic health record as a criterion for meaningful use, it should occur by 2013, and it should include an explicit recognition of the DICOM standard, according to industry manager Rich Eaton in this AuntMinnie Second Opinion.
