Radiofrequency (RF) ablation developer RITA Medical Systems has debuted StarBurst Semi-Flex, a flexible RF ablation device targeted at the interventional radiology market. Designed for use during ablation procedures employing MRI, ultrasound, and CT systems, Semi-Flex has received a CE Mark as well as Food and Drug Administration clearance, according to RITA of Mountain View, CA.
