S&S, NeoRad sign distribution deal

S&S Technology, a division of Houston-based S&S X-Ray Products, has been selected by radiology device developer NeoRad of Oslo, Norway, to be the exclusive U.S. and Canadian distributor for SimpliCT, a laser guidance system for CT-guided interventions.

SimpliCT facilitates the correct placement of radiofrequency ablation needles and has a 510(k) clearance by the Food and Drug Administration, S&S said. The firm is offering a free two-week trial of the technology to radiology departments.
