Radiation therapy vendor Varian Medical Systems said that Emory University School of Medicine's department of radiation oncology has become the first cancer treatment center to use its new Trilogy image-guided radiosurgery system.
Emory clinicians used Trilogy to treat four patients with stereotactic radiosurgery during its first week of operation, according to Palo Alto, CA-based Varian.
