Flat-panel detector manufacturer PerkinElmer Optoelectronics has signed a multiyear $15 million agreement to provide its amorphous-silicon flat-panel digital x-ray detectors to radiation therapy firm Elekta.
The Boston vendor will supply Stockholm, Sweden-based PerkinElmer with new high-speed detectors, which will be integrated into Elekta's image-guided radiation treatment (IGRT) products.
