Elekta extends University of Pittsburgh deal

Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta has extended its relationship with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Elekta and the Pittsburgh institution will have a collaborative relationship for extracranial neurosurgery using the firm's Axesse 6D robotic image-guided radiosurgery system, according to the Stockholm-based vendor.
