Image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis of St. Louis has appointed a new chief medical officer (CMO), the company said.
Dr. David Burkhardt, a former electrophysiologist at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, brings experience in the use of interventional magnetic navigation systems for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Burkhardt most recently served as associate program director for the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship training program. His specialties include remote navigation, new technology assessment, and optimization of cardiac resynchronization therapy.
