Canadian intraoperative MRI developer IMRIS has sold its IMRISneuro neurosurgical imaging system to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
The IMRISneuro combines a movable MRI with an IMRISmatrix surgical information system, allowing surgeons to image patients in the operating room during brain surgery.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba, company will have 17 installations worldwide after clinical use begins in early 2009.
