Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, and Skytron of Grand Rapids, MI, are collaborating to create hybrid operating rooms for minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Philips will provide interventional x-ray equipment and specialized imaging tables, while Skytron will contribute advanced operating room communications control integration, surgical lighting, and boom technologies.
The hybrid suites will be designed for image-guided interventional radiology procedures, such as cardiovascular, vascular, and cardiac surgery; neurosurgery; and orthopedics.
The partnership will cover North and South America, Latin America, and Canada.
