Philips, Steris team on hybrid ORs

Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, and Steris of Mentor, OH, are collaborating to provide hybrid operating rooms for open and minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical procedures.

The partnership will combine Philips' cardiovascular x-ray systems with Steris' HD360° suite technologies, as well as design services, to create an environment where clinicians can use a single operating suite to treat patients with either minimally invasive procedures or open surgery.
