Vital Images posts flat Q2 revenues

Advanced visualization firm Vital Images of Minneapolis posted a slight increase in revenues for its second quarter (end-June 30), the company said.

Revenues for the period were $15.7 million, a 1% increase compared to $15.5 million for the second quarter of 2007. The firm's net loss jumped for the 2008 second quarter, from $379,000 in 2007 to $1.6 million in 2008, which the company attributed to challenges in the medical imaging market this year.
