(Booth 1545) Swedish software developer ContextVision of Stockholm will introduce GOPView iRVPlus, a new version of the company's GOPView software designed for interventional radiology suites.
GOPView iRVPlus uses the company's GOP algorithm to distinguish between anatomical structures and noise and artifacts. The filtering and enhancement process is applied to each pixel and all individual frames, which allows different interventional procedures to achieve customized enhancement without any temporal blurring, the company said.
ContextVision's software can be embedded into an OEM's imaging system and has U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for multimodality use, including MRI, x-ray, and ultrasound modalities. When used with an optimized graphics processing unit (GPU) board, it is capable of 1k x 1k x 2 bytes real-time performance and can process images up to 1024 x 1024 pixels in real-time.
