(Booth 3472) Kjaya Medical of Stamford, CT, will tout its VoXcell application, thin-client software for image distribution and visualization.
VoXcell enables physicians to stream 2D axial slices and 3D reconstructions to any desktop or mobile PC that can access a cable, DSL, or cellular broadband Internet connection. The software uses Kjaya's Xcell hardware platform, which is based on off-the-shelf graphics processing units to keep costs down. VoXcell and Xcell enable instant interactive image review that is both flexible and scalable, according to the company.
Kjaya is offering VoXcell and Xcell through partnerships with PACS vendors, and under a managed service program that provides software, hardware, and support at a low up-front cost under a per-use billing structure.
