(Booth 3338) Quantification software provider Medis Medical Imaging Systems of Leiden, Netherlands, will showcase its new QMass MR software at RSNA 2008.
QMass MR features automatic left-ventricular (LV) and right-ventricular (RV) contour detection; guided workflows for performing analyses; analysis of LV and RV function; delayed signal-intensity, time-intensity, and stress-function studies; synchronized visualization of stress levels; and visual scoring of wall motion, time intensity, and viability.
QMass MR is DICOM-compatible and vendor-neutral, and it runs on Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista operating systems. It can be integrated into hospital information systems or PACS networks.
Medis plans to market QMass MR to cardiologists, radiologists, and researchers for the assessment and monitoring of cardiac function, scar tissue, and viability, as well as for monitoring congenital heart disease.
QMass MR has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and will be available worldwide in the fourth quarter.
