NordicNeuroLab

(Booth 1841) This Bergen, Norway-based firm will highlight its nordic fMRI system, a set of hardware and software for conducting functional MRI studies.

The product allows a single clinician to conduct an entire fMRI procedure, from stimulus presentation and image acquisition to data analysis and reporting of results. It consists of three components: nordicAktiva, a stimulus presentation and workflow software package; hardware components for audio and visual stimulus presentation, response collection, and timing synchronization; and nordicICE, image analysis software for blood-oxygen level dependent (BOLD), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and perfusion imaging techniques.

nordic fMRI's hardware is compatible with MRI environments and is designed to synchronize with the MRI scanner while delivering quality audio and visual stimuli to patients. The nordicICE software includes advanced features for functional data visualization; it is designed to simplify the complex data processing operations associated with fMRI while enabling an optimized workflow for users, maximizing data flexibility and standardizing results, NordicNeuroLab said.
