Confirma closes financing

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Confirma of Bellevue, WA, has closed on a financing deal that raised $17.5 million for the company.

Confirma issued the financing to a group of investment firms that included new and current investors. The company said it would use the funds to support ongoing operations and new product development.
