Teleradiology provider Virtual Radiologic (vRad), a subsidiary of national medical group Mednax, has secured its 19th patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Patent No. 10,198,816 B2, titled "Medical Evaluation Machine Learning Workflows and Processes," covers methods for image recognition using artificial intelligence (AI) and for diagnostic evaluations of a medical image that can be modified or prioritized, the company said.
