Artificial intelligence (AI) startup maiData has signed a memorandum of understanding with inContext.ai to integrate that firm's natural language processing (NLP) technology into its maiVA software platform.
As a result of the deal, maiData will be able to utilize NLP to identify semantically relevant subsets of clinical data for pseudonymization, extraction, and delivery to customers. Its clients can then utilize more refined search and inference criteria, enabling access to more nuanced, interoperable details about the clinical data that's been collected, according to the vendor.
maiData's data collection technology is designed to reduce the challenges associated with traditional data curation methods for developing and testing medical AI algorithms, according to the company.
