Dutch artificial intelligence (AI) software developer ScreenPoint Medical said it has raised $28 million in a series C funding round.
The round was led by venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners and included existing investors such as ScreenPoint's founders, Siemens Healthineers and Oost NL, as well as radiology and teleradiology services provider University Radiology Group.
Screenpoint said it would use the funds to speed up the commercial growth of its Transpara AI breast cancer screening software. The new investment will also enable further research and development and expansion of the product line, according to the vendor.
