Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Gleamer has signed an agreement with HealthCare Konnect (HCK) of Switzerland covering sales of its AI software in North Africa.
Gleamer and HCK have partnered to make Gleamer's BoneView algorithm for analyzing trauma on x-rays available to clinicians in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. Gleamer said its software has been shown to eliminate up to 30% of missed fractures on radiographs.
The companies believe that use of the software in North Africa could help the region cope with the large number of trauma emergencies that often threaten to overwhelm emergency personnel, including radiologists.
