Civie’s platform has earned certified status from HITRUST for cybersecurity and information protection, the company announced.
HITRUST e1 Certification, built on the HITRUST Assurance Program, confirms that the Civie platform has been independently assessed to meet rigorous cybersecurity and data protection standards as defined by leading cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks, with effective controls for protecting sensitive data and managing information risk.
Civie’s platform includes RIS, PACS, AI-powered radiology dictation solution (ASR), revenue cycle management (RCM), and vendor-neutral archives (VNA), the firm noted.
This approach helps organizations address evolving cyber threats and maintain established standards across the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP), while strengthening confidence in the platform’s data-protection controls, Civie added.
