AETmed signs Italian archiving deal

Italian PACS vendor AETmed has signed a contract to provide its DICOMed product to the Emo Centro Cuore Columbus cardiovascular center in Milan, Italy. The Genoa-based firm will archive more than 2,000 procedures annually with a combination of RAID and DVD jukeboxes, the first installation of its kind in the country, according to the company.
