Misys acquires Per-Se product

Information technology developer Misys Healthcare Systems of Tucson, AZ, has signed an asset purchase agreement with healthcare information systems developer Per Se Technologies of Atlanta. The deal calls for Misys to acquire Per Se’s Patient1 computerized patient record/computerized physician order entry (CPR/CPOE) product.

Under the terms of the agreement and pending final transaction closing, Misys will assume support agreements for the Patient1 client base and will develop, market, and support the products as Misys CPRand Misys CPOE. Misys will also assume ownership of Decision1, a clinical data warehousing and reporting tool companion to Patient1.
