Manmar launches 3-D software for MRI and CT

Software developer Manmar Technologies of Chennai, India has launched FastVol-3D, a new 3-D visualization application for CT and MRI studies. The software runs on Windows-based PCs and offers color and grayscale volume-rendering, with features including maximum and minimum intensity projections (MIP/MinIP), shaded-surface display, cutaway and slab viewing, sculpting, and multiplanar reconstructions (MPRs).

FastVol-3D can be integrated into any DICOM-based imaging application, workstation, or PACS that handles MRI and CT studies. Manmar is also distributing the software through its OEM and VAR partners.
