Laurel Bridge releases DICOM analysis tool

Software developer Laurel Bridge Software of Newark, DE, has released DICOM Protocol Analyzer (DPA), a tool that enables users to detect and diagnose DICOM-related networking problems.

The DPA software acts as a node between a DICOM client and server; it inspects, forwards, and can log DICOM protocol data units (PDUs) sent by each DICOM application entity. The software is controlled via a local or remote Web browser and can run on multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
