RIS Admin workstation adds new RIS/PACS integration functionality for the San Diego-based PACS vendor.
The workstation incorporates Internet-based scheduling, document scanning, service and ICD-9 diagnostic codes, and practice analysis tools for management reports. Users can examine prior patient records and retrieve archives, display images, listen to digital voice, or view text dictation along with the HL7 HIS/RIS interface for automated data entry, DR Systems said. RIS Admin workstation will be sold as a hardware platform with a software license, and is scheduled for release in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2004.
